During May, I participated in Workout to Conquer Cancer presented by RYU apparel. As part of the RYU team, I joined hundreds of others across British Columbia with the common goal of moving every single day in the month of May. The purpose was to support cancer research and enhancements to care at BC Cancer.
For 31 consecutive days, I laced up my runners to get in at least 30 minutes of activity. See the month’s workout itinerary at the end of this post.
I am grateful to everyone who contributed—it meant a lot to me. And thanks to your generous donations and support, I was able to reach and exceed my goal to fundraise $1,000 (the final tally for my personal donation page was $1,040!).
Of course, I’ll keep exercising as usual (maybe not every day), and for now, my donation page will remain open.
